• ٱلْـحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
  Alhamdulillahil-ladhi ahyana ba’da ma amatana wa ilayhin-nushoor
  (All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the resurrection.)

Before Sleeping

• بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
  Bismika Allahumma amootu wa ahya
  (In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.)

Before Eating

• بِسْمِ اللَّهِ
  Bismillah
  (In the name of Allah.)

After Eating

• الْـحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
  Alhamdulillahilladhi at’amana wasaqana waja’alana minal-muslimeen
  (All praise is for Allah who fed us, gave us drink, and made us Muslims.)

Before Entering Washroom

• اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ
  Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal-khubthi wal-khaba’ith
  (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male and female devils.)

After Leaving Washroom

• غُفْرَانَكَ
  Ghufranak
  (I seek Your forgiveness.)

  • سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ
    Subhanalladhi sakhkhara lana hatha wama kunna lahu muqrineen wa inna ila rabbina lamunqaliboon
    (Glory be to Him who has subjected this to us, and we could not have done it ourselves. Surely, to our Lord we must return.)

  When Entering a New City

  • اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ لَنَا فِيهَا قَرَارًا وَارْزُقْنَا فِيهَا رِزْقًا حَلَالًا
    Allahumma aj‘al lana feeha qararan warzuqna feeha rizqan halal-an
    (O Allah, grant us a place of stay and provide us lawful sustenance in it.)

  For Forgiveness

  • رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
    Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa in lam taghfir lana wa tarhamna lanakoonanna minal-khasireen
    (Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.)

  For Parents

  • رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
    Rabbir hamhuma kama rabbayani sagheera
    (My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up when I was small.)

  For Guidance

  • رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ
    Rabbana la tuzigh quloobana ba’da idh hadaytana wa hab lana milladunka rahmah innaka antal-wahhab
    (Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.)
